I had heard stories about how good the food was and finally had the chance to visit.
Oh my word!!! It was just "good" it was amazing!. Portion sizes were a good balance for a heart eater and for someone like me who took some home (my tradition). What was great is when I reheated my food the next day, it was still as pleasurable to eat.
So if you haven't been, go!. Pricing was exceptionally reasonable (micki d's can can more expensive for two hungry adults).

Overall probably one of the better places to get fish and chips in Saskatoon. However, I found the portions of chips and fish to be small. Service friendly albeit fairly slow and no refills of water tonight. Fountain at the front is really nice but seems to be in disrepair. Decent meal but probably won't be back super soon. Will get my fish and chips fix next time I'm in BC.

When I returned to Saskatoon recently my kids and I enjoyed Gibson’s Fish & Chips. This childhood favourite of mine has been owned and operated by the Gibson family since 1964 and I have been eating there since 1972! The food is exceptional and the service is warm and friendly. You never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. If you haven’t already done so, please introduce your family and friends to the best Fish & Chips in the world!

I used to go here all the time for the past 15 years, now it has lost me to eat in, the service was terrible and rude, my wife asked for a paralyzer. a very common simple drink, no one knew how to make it without looking it up. They must've lost their awesome bartenders. The food was the worst I've ever eaten there. Shrimp wasn't cooked fully, there was no seasoning on the calimari. And they expected me to pour my beer into a warm glass. This is Canada not England, we drink beer cold. They didn't even ask if we wanted a to-go container, they just took the plates and didn't say anything until they brought our bill. Idk if there's new staff but wow, totally disappointed with this place now.
